Fox News host Shepard Smith really does not care about Monday's much-hyped solar eclipse.
One of Fox News' correspondents first talked to a man in a tin foil hat about the eclipse. The man explained that his hat "dissipates all of the energy that's coming out from the sun, and it will protect us."
Smith then showed another total eclipse right in his own studio. Smith put his computer mouse in front of his phone to downplay the solar eclipse, with the phone screen completely covered from his perspective.
He then impersonated someone eagerly looking up at the eclipse before shrugging off the event.
The Fox News host did find something positive about Monday's eclipse festivities, however.
"I'm certainly enjoying it," Smith said. "It's better than having to read up on something all day long."
