Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been named People's Sexiest Man Alive as he begins to contemplate a potential run to be president of the United States.

He told the magazine that being named Sexiest Man Alive may be his greatest accomplishment.

"I said, 'That's awesome,'" Johnson told People. "And then what went through my mind was just how cool and exciting it is. And then I thought, 'Wow, we've pretty much reached the pinnacle.' I'm not quite too sure where we go from here. I've done it all, this is it."

However, when asked if he would consider running for president, Johnson mused that maybe there is more he can accomplish.

"I used to say it jokingly, but every time I was asked, it was with a real genuine interest. And it was very earnest," he told the magazine. "And so I started to really think. Could I make a difference? Could I surround myself with really brilliant people to help me make decisions? Do I care about this country? And when the answers continued to come up yes, then I thought, there's a good chance. Yeah, one day. Then we'll do another interview like this."

Johnson has also garnered support from notable political commentators like Federalist senior writer and CNN commentator Mary Katherine Ham. On social media, Johnson has even thanked Ham for her support.

He has also responded favorably to others questioning why he is not already our president given his strong support for U.S. military personnel around the world.

After Donald Trump successfully transitioned from being a celebrity to the political arena to become president-elect, Johnson's political aspirations may not be so far-fetched.
