Clinton surrogate Geraldine Ferraro resigned from the campaign after saying Barack Obama was only beating Hillary because he’s black.

Ferraro stirred controversy with her recent remarks that Obama's campaign was successful because he was black.

She told CNN's Suzanne Malveaux Wednesday that she was "absolutely not" sorry for her comments.

Hours later Hillary Clinton said she was sorry for Bill’s racist statements.

"You know I am sorry if anyone was offended. It was certainly not meant in any way to be offensive." She went on to say that "we can be proud of both Jesse Jackson and Senator Obama."

Arrested Development actress Liza Minelli turned 62, John Kerry friend James Taylor turned 60, and Mitt Romney turned 61.
