Moroccan Soccer Fans Root For ISIL

Fans of Moroccan soccer team Raja Club Athletic were seen cheering on the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) and chanting "let's go on jihad!" in a video posted by the Middle East Media Research Institute on Monday.

Using the Arabic acronym for ISIL, "Daish," the Casablanca-based fans began yelling the terror group's name to the beat of an ominous drum under stadium bleachers.

As the ISIL chants began to fizzle out, the fans start up a second chant:

"Allahu Akbar, let's go on jihad!"

Raja Club Athletic, also known as Raja Casablanca, is one of Morocco's most popular teams and was the first of Africa's Arab teams to participate in the 2000 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
