Ludacris, the three-time Grammy award winning rapper, is set to headline a concert at Guantanamo Bay this Fourth of July.

The performance will be held in a U.S. Navy Base parking lot along the bay, located miles away from the military prison, where the remaining 79 detainees will not be able to hear top hits including "What’s Your Fantasy" and "Money Maker," the Miami Herald reported Monday.

The annual "Freedom Festival" is put on for the troops, Department of Defense contractors, and Navy families. Fewer than 6,000 people live on the base, including the high-value prisoners accused of terrorism.

The Ludacris show will follow a fireworks display Monday night. Tickets are free for all residents.

Past acts have included Magic!, Jimmy Eat World, and the Plain White Ts, though base residents said they could not recall a headliner of this magnitude since Jimmy Buffet played in 2002.

"Every year we get a special guest around the Fourth of July, but Gitmo hasn’t seen a star with as big a name as Ludacris in several years," Navy Chief Monique Hilley at the base radio station, Radio Gitmo, told the Miami Herald. "The base is really looking forward to it."

Ludacris has performed for the military twice before, in 2004 and 2010.

The rapper also stars in "Fast and Furious 8," which announced this past April it had become the first Hollywood film to shoot in Cuba since the embargo was lifted.
