Derek Jeter hit a walk-off RBI in the bottom of the ninth during his final game at Yankee Stadium on Thursday, delivering a 6-5 victory to the New York Yankees over the Baltimore Orioles.
After a three-run rally by the Orioles in the top of the ninth, Jeter stepped up to the plate and hit a game-winning single into right field, allowing Antoan Richardson to dive over home plate and score the winning run for the Yankees.
Jeter's dramatic final showing came before a sold-out crowd of 48,613 at Yankee Stadium. The Orioles clinched the American League East championship and will head to the postseason next week.
