Welcome to the party, Vogue. It’s about damn time.
It’s time to talk boobs. After all, everyone else is. And with good reason, because breasts - the big, bouncy, bodacious sort that heaved their way through the Golden Age of Hollywood - are back.
Why, yes. Yes they are.
High end fashion never looked so good.
Uptonologists have known for years what Anna Wintour appears to have just learned recently. The Kate Upton business is good business. No super smoke spans the political spectrum quite like she does.
Vogue quoted Kate's agent, who also represents super smoke Gisele Bundchen.
"While models with boobs were previously discounted from a lot of high-end editorials, thanks to the size of the designer samples, which tended to discount breasts," Ellis says, "Recently we've been seeing designers more willing to change samples to fit a special girl."
Special, indeed.
Vogue then attempted to explain why those with a single X chromosome welcome the shift in spending.
Men love boobs - that's a well-documented story we needn't explore here. But for women, as is true for fashion, the relationship is more complicated. In short, breasts are difficult to dress.
Clearly.
One of the amazing things about Kate is her versatility. I mean, she can succeed in any environment. On the beach:
In space:
Poolside:
Even spelunking:
