New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D.) busted a move with men wearing thongs, and nothing else, at a re-election campaign event Monday evening.

De Blasio attended the second annual "LGBT for BDB" fundraiser hosted by Cynthia Nixon, "Orange Is the New Black" star Taylor Schilling and Alan Cumming at The Cutting Room in New York City, The New York Post reported.

"It was like a gay-pride party and even the mayor got into the action," an attendee told the Post. "When the show wrapped, he and wife Chirlane McCray got up on stage and started dancing and taking photos with the night’s male backup dancers — who were wearing nothing but thongs."

"I’m glad you came back for the more toned-down, conservative show this year," de Blasio said on stage.

De Blasio also touted his wife during his speech.

"De Blasio began by asking the audience if they’d ever seen a hotter 62-year-old," the source said. "She came [to the event] four years ago and became hotter with each passing year."

The mayor talked about the day he met–and immediately fell in love with–McCray in 1991.

"He said, ‘I heard violins playing, I heard angels singing, and Chirlane felt–absolutely nothing.’ " the attendee said.

De Blasio said he vied for McCray's attention for weeks before eventually winning her over.

The Cutting Room is a "classy yet funky concert venue with diverse acts," according to the venue's Google profile. Tickets for the fundraiser ranged from $25 for "Students, Seniors & Strapped" to a $4,950 "wow!" ticket.
