UPDATED 2:00 P.M.: This post was updated to include a tweet from Anthony Scaramucci saying that his planned online event has been canceled. The tweet was sent out after this article was published.

Anthony Scaramucci will discuss his brief stint as President Donald Trump's communications director while hosting an online event on Friday.

Fox News co-president Bill Shine is providing Scaramucci with a daytime online event where Scaramucci is expected to directly tell the American people what happened during his time in the Trump administration, according to CNN.

Scaramucci has barely commented on what happened during his time at the White House. He told TMZ on Tuesday that he is "working on being the best person [he] can be." He also had nice words for the new White House chief of staff, John Kelly, despite reports that Kelly was behind removing Scaramucci.

Scaramucci was hired and then removed as communications director in a span of 10 days. It was reported that the decision to remove Scaramucci came at the request of Kelly, who was sworn in as chief of staff on Monday morning. White House officials told multiple media outlets that the decision to oust Scaramucci came at the request of Kelly, who had served as secretary of homeland security before assuming his new role.

Scaramucci made headlines within his first days in the administration, when he called New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza and went on a profanity-laced tirade against fellow White House staffers, including chief strategist Steve Bannon and then-chief of staff Reince Priebus.

CNN obtained an internal memo detailing the communications strategy Scaramucci had planned for the White House. The strategy was to have the communications team repair relations with the press, and to produce more content that showed positive stories about the administration.
