Protesters chanted and yelled outside the offices of Republican senators on Wednesday afternoon in response to their efforts to repeal Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act.
Chants like "Tell me what democracy looks like, this is what democracy looks like," "save the ACA," "shame," and "we want health care" permeated the halls while officers arrested and removed the protesters one-by-one.
The Senate Republican effort to repeal and replace the bill fell apart on Monday due to four Republican defections, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) is seeking a clean repeal of the law with a delay for time to craft a replacement.
