Team Navy's Wounded Warrior Athletes Explain What Independence Day Means to Them

The athletes of Team Navy competing in the annual Department of Defense Warrior Games explain what Independence Day means to them in this inspiring video.

According to the Navy, this year's wounded warriors participating in the Paralympic-style games from June 30 to July 8 consist of 36 Sailors and four Coast Guardsmen who compete "against other military teams to compete for gold, silver, and bronze medals in archery, cycling, field, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, and wheelchair basketball."

The Navy is hosting this year's event in partnership with the city of Chicago.
