One America News Network CEO Robert Herring announced on Twitter that he rescinded his job offer to former Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly on Tuesday.
Herring announced that the contract his network offered O'Reilly would have paid him more than what he made at Fox News. The OANN chief wished O'Reilly luck and told Mediate that his network was ready to move on from negotiations after O'Reilly and his agent failed to respond.
We are pulling offer to @billoreilly, it could have paid him more than he made at Fox. We wish him luck. #OANN

Before leaving Fox News, it was reported that O'Reilly's contract paid him $25 million per year. He received millions more in his severance package.
O'Reilly has yet to reveal what he plans to do for the future. He is assembling his own production team and will start his own operation, the Washington Free Beacon reported over the weekend, citing comments O'Reilly made.
"But I am starting my own operation. We are going to do that," [O'Reilly said], adding that his website, billoreilly.com, will beta test a half-hour newscast "where we will go into a studio and here it will look like 'The Factor.' … It's basically an experiment to see how many people are going to want this service. That's coming and will be here before September in a robust form. But I suspect there will be another network maybe merging with us. There will be a network that rises up because the numbers for Fox are going down."
O'Reilly was forced out at Fox News back in April amid allegations of sexual harassment. Reports show that the network paid out $13 million to five women so they would not pursue legal action against him. After his departure, O'Reilly said on his podcast that the "the truth will come out" about his exit from Fox.
