Sen. Al Franken (D., Minn.) did a seeming double take on Tuesday when Joy Behar suggested President Trump didn't care about his grandchildren.
On the morning talk show to discuss his new book Al Franken, Giant of the Senate, Franken criticized Trump's potential exodus from the Paris climate agreement. Franken said he didn't want his grandkids to look at him in the future and wonder why he didn't do more to address climate change.
As the interview concluded, Behar said, "President Trump has grandchildren also."
"It amazes me that he is not concerned about his grandchildren. What does that say about him? But we have to go," Behar said.
Franken stared at Behar in a pregnant pause, but then he kissed her on the cheek while she said, "I love you so much."
