Kredo: Obama Admin Officials Might Go to Prison for Alleged Role in Surveilling Trump

Washington Free Beacon senior writer Adam Kredo said Tuesday that some Obama administration officials could go to prison for their alleged role in surveilling President Donald Trump.

Kredo appeared on One America News Network's "Tipping Point," where he told host Liz Wheeler that intelligence gathered by Obama officials was "politicized" and used as "ammunition to try to take down Trump."

"You might even see potential prison time for some of these Obama administration officials complicit in this," Kredo said.

Senior National Security Council staff in the Obama administration knew that government intelligence was surveilling Trump and leaked information to beef up "allegations against Trump himself," according to Kredo's sources.

Kredo added that many former officials were "very scared" that they would get caught for their role in the alleged surveillance.
