President Donald Trump will announce his nominee to fill the vacant Supreme Court seat on Tuesday night.
The president made the announcement in a Twitter post Monday morning that he will publicize his choice to fill the late Justice Antonin Scalia's seat on the high court Tuesday at 8 p.m.
I have made my decision on who I will nominate for The United States Supreme Court. It will be announced live on Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. (W.H.)

Trump was originally scheduled to announce his choice on Thursday.
The president previously said during a "60 Minutes" interview that his choice for the Supreme Court would be a justice opposed to abortion while adding that the issue of same-sex marriage is "settled," CNN reported.
