Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning will address Republican lawmakers next week during a GOP retreat in Philadelphia, Politico reported Tuesday.
Manning, a Republican, was a major donor to Jeb Bush's presidential campaign in 2016. He did not endorse any candidate in the general election, according to the Hill.
Republican members of Congress will meet in Philadelphia on Wednesday through Friday to develop policy plans to push in the early days of the new Trump administration.
President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will also be addressing the lawmakers. This meeting will be the first time Trump travels outside of Washington, D.C. as president.
British Prime Minister Theresa May will also reportedly be attending.
