Donald Trump said at a rally Wednesday that the last person's personal space he would ever want to invade would be Hillary Clinton's.
Trump, touting what he called a winning performance over his Democratic rival in Sunday's presidential debate, mocked media coverage that he invaded Clinton's personal space at times on the stage in St. Louis.
"They said, 'He invaded her space.' I invaded her space," Trump said in mock disbelief. "Believe me, the last space that I want to invade is her space. Believe me. I don't want to invade her space."
The Lakeland, Florida crowd ate it up, cheering loudly.
