Vice President Joe Biden dodged on whether the Clinton Foundation was operating 100 percent ethically during an interview Thursday with MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt.
Hunt asked Biden if Americans should be concerned about the ethics of the Clinton Foundation.
"Do you think Americans should be concerned at all about the ethics of the Clinton Foundation?" she asked. "Has the Clinton Foundation always been a 100 percent ethical in your view?"
"Look, I think the Clinton Foundation, like all foundations, have found themselves in a position where things are changing, and I think she’s going to change and adjust to the realities of how complicated its all become," Biden said.
Hunt then asked if the Clinton Foundation should now stop taking foreign donations.
"Well, I think you’ll see them stop taking foreign donations," Biden said before the interview ended.
Accepting donations from foreign sources has been an ongoing source of controversy surrounding the Clinton Foundation due to pay-to-play accusations, including from Clinton’s time as secretary of state.
