Hillary Clinton took a shot at babysitting during a campaign rally Thursday in Virginia, dismissing it as not a "real job."
The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee was discussing the so-called wage gap when she brought up the anecdote of a young woman in Kansas.
"She was really excited ... because it was her first real job. I remember those days, when I had my first real job," Clinton said. "Not just babysitting and things like that, but a real job."
Nannying, childcare, and babysitting are generally considered legitimate forms of employment. The Clinton campaign often touts her work with children as one of her strongest assets.
