Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vermont) appeared on the Weather Channel Thursday to preview his new climate change bill that would raise taxes on fossil fuels.
The anchor asked Sanders on how a time table on converting to sustainable energy, Sanders said he was not a scientist:
ANCHOR: Senator, how quickly would you like to see us convert to sustainable energy?
BERNIE SANDERS: Look, I am not a scientist. I am telling you what the scientists tell us.
This echoes Sen. Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) similar assertion that he too was not a scientist.
