Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer appeared on Late Night with Seth Myers Wednesday, where they told host Seth Meyers how they got to "freak out super hard" in front of Hillary Clinton, first reported by Entertainment Weekly.
The Democratic presidential candidate stopped by the set of Broad City, where she made a cameo in the upcoming season and then later appeared on Meyers show.
Jacobson told Meyers how intense it was to be swept by Secret Security when Clinton made her cameo. She went on to describe the scene that Clinton was part of, saying that the characters were meant to freak out meeting Clinton and called the moment "crazy."
Meyers said that he remembered that the day she made her cameo that she then stopped by Meyers’ program for a hard-hitting interview. Jacobson noted that she wore the same coat.
"They are just like us," Glazer said. "Leaders of the free world are just like us."
Both actresses regaled that when they watched Clinton's appearance that she was wearing the same coat.
"It’s so gross that that means so much, but for women to wear the same thing and be a badass about it, it’s really meaningful, unfortunately," Glazer said.
No word on what Glazer meant by saying that it was meaningful for women to wear the same thing in two different places. Clinton's cameo appearance on Broad City has yet to be aired.
