Chelsea Clinton Concerned 'That Not Enough People Are Getting Involved' In Democratic Party

March 1, 2016

On Monday night, Chelsea Clinton said in an interview with KETV that she is worried that not enough people are getting involved with the Democratic presidential race.

Clinton was in Lincoln, Nebraska Monday night helping her mother, Hillary Clinton, campaign in the wake of Super Tuesday.

Clinton pointed out that even though there has been an increase seen in voter turnout during this presidential election cycle, there could still be more people coming to the polls, especially since there are people who are registered to vote, but just not coming to the polls. This could signify a lack of enthusiasm throughout the Democratic Party.

"There still are millions of voters who aren't registered to vote," she said. "There are people who are not coming out to caucuses or primaries, even who are registered."

Clinton stressed the importance of how much is at stake in this election.

Even though there has been an increase in voter turnout, it has been primarily seen on the Republican side.
