The Islamic State released a video warning of attacks in Russia "very soon."

According to the SITE intelligence group, the Islamic State’s foreign language media outlet, the Al-Hayat Media Center, released a video in Russian featuring chants of "Soon, very soon, the blood will spill like an ocean." The video also shows scenes of beheadings and gunshot executions.

The terrorist group has previously demanded attacks against Russia and the United States for launching airstrikes targeting IS fighters in Syria. Russia staged a military intervention in Syria beginning months ago with the alleged goal of combating the Islamic State.

Reports of the new video come just as U.S. and other Western officials increasingly suspect that a bomb planted by IS brought down a Russian passenger jet at the end of October, the crash killing all 224 individuals aboard.

The Islamic State affiliate in Egypt publicly claimed responsibility for the crash after the plane broke up over Egypt’s Sinai peninsula.
