On Tuesday, State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki failed to answer whether Clinton signed a separation letter. The separation letter (Document OF-109) is an agreement that every government employee signs to guarantee that the employee will hand over all relevant and classified information.
If Clinton did sign the separation form, she could face criminal charges for having State Department emails on a private server in her home. Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough said that if other government employees signed the agreement and failed to hand over classified information, they would face five to 10 years in jail.
MSNBC contributor Dorian Warren said the controversy is part of a pattern in which Clinton follows her own set of rules. The Washington Post's David Ignatius echoed Warren, saying that the Clintons have received special treatment since Bill Clinton was president. Warren continued to say that the result of all these scandals would be Clinton fatigue.
