Democratic advisers have urged Hillary Clinton to move up the announcement of her campaign for president in the wake of her email scandal.
The scandal is making Democratic strategists nervous and has begun to draw parallels to the last time the Clintons were in the White House.
The focus has shifted to her potential opponents, such as former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and current Vice President Joe Biden. O’Malley said Wednesday he was sick of hearing about the controversy, while Biden has not said anything.
A new report from the State Department inspector general said that in the last five years, most important State Department emails were not archived properly due in part to inadequate training, failing computer systems, and some employees deliberately avoiding creating digital records.
