Rubio Blasts Obama Foreign Policy For Treating the Ayatollah Better Than Prime Minister of Israel

February 27, 2015

Sen. Marco Rubio blasted President Obama at CPAC Friday, calling the White House’s foreign policy weak and damaging.

"Because of the Obama-Clinton policy, are allies no longer trust and our enemies no longer fear us," Rubio said.

Rubio dug into the President’s determination to control every aspect of American lives from "health care to even now, the Internet."

The 2016 contender focused his speech mostly on foreign policy, a place where Democrats are perceived to be most vulnerable and sure to dominate the 2016 election as the Islamic State continues to threaten the West.

Rubio called Obama’s plan a "foreign policy that treats the Ayatollah in Iran with more respect than the Prime Minister of Israel." The son of Cuban immigrants, Rubio went on to say that Americans reject Obama’s notion that we are arrogant and pushed against the apologetic nature of the White House.

"But Americans know we are exceptional," Rubio said.
