Ellison Barber Discusses 2014 Gubernatorial Races on The Blaze

February 25, 2014

The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber joined The Blaze TV’s "Real News" Tuesday to discuss the upcoming gubernatorial races, saying that Republicans face a tough battleground defending many states that Obama won in 2012.

"When I look at these gubernatorial races, the first thing I look at is how they voted for Obama and Romney in 2012. And only one Democratic seat that up for reelection that voted for Romney is Arkansas," Barber noted. "You have at least seven different states with Republican governors that voted for Obama: Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Maine, among others."

"So I think they really are in a tough position," Barber said, "especially when you look at how 2012 went."
