Speaker of the House John Boehner (R., Ohio) called on President Obama on Tuesday morning to act on the Keystone Pipeline, citing much needed job creation and energy security as reasons.
"Look, we need jobs, and we want energy security. And the Keystone pipeline is critical to both of them. There's bipartisan support for this project in both the House and the Senate. And I recognize the President has friends that are opposed to this. But if we're going to operate our government on sound science, it's time for the president to act," Boehner said.
