Graham Platner's Top Strategist Admitted to Sharing Nude Pics of Himself: Now He's Accused of Threatening Woman Who Exposed Platner's Sordid Sexting Past

Morris Katz, the Democratic svengali behind Zohran Mamdani, is now trying to work the same magic for Maine's embattled oysterman

Workers of the world, undress.

Graham Platner's top campaign strategist—who reportedly berated a female ex-campaign aide for exposing Platner's history of sexting multiple women—has admitted to sending lewd images of himself to multiple people, the Washington Free Beacon can report.

Morris Katz, 26, the controversial Zoomer political savant behind the Maine Democratic Senate hopeful, made the admission himself in a blog post in October 2019—in the aftermath of the sensational resignation of former Rep. Katie Hill (D., Calif.).

The freshman California congresswoman and rising Democratic star resigned that month after she faced allegations of intimate relationships with two staffers—male and female—and extremely embarrassing nudes of her were made public.

In his blog post, Katz defended Hill's naughty pictures. "I've sent nudes and I've received nudes. We need to reach a cultural understanding where sexual photos that were consensually exchanged get deleted once the relationship ends or either side no longer consents," Katz said in an elegy for Hill's career.

"Everybody I know knows someone whose nudes have been circulated," he went on. "It's become an accepted part of teenage (and evidently adult) male culture."

The essay, "Katie Hill Resigned for Our Sins," was broadly a condemnation of "revenge porn" (Hill blamed her estranged then-husband for leaking the photos, an allegation the husband denied). Hill's alleged relationship with the male staffer—a violation of House rules adopted amid the #MeToo movement—was mostly glossed over by Katz in the panegyric. Hill denied the relationship.

It's unclear who was on the receiving end of Katz's manhood—he did not respond to a request for comment from the Free Beacon.

In 2020 Katz wrote a children's book—through a publishing house owned by his mother—called Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Puberty—and Shouldn't Be Googling: For Curious Boys.

The book includes sections on "Your New Penis," "The Magic of Masturbation," and "Toxic Masculinity."

In March, Politico reported that on page 17 of the book, next to a chart discussing the phases of puberty, Katz wrote:

"At first, we were going to use images of my penis to get this point across, but the publisher said it was inappropriate so here we are."

Katz came to wide prominence in political circles as the political guru behind New York City mayor Zohran Mamdani (D.). He was credited as the mastermind of Mamdani's groundbreaking campaign ads.

His highest-profile candidate this cycle, Platner, is embroiled in his own naked reckoning.

On Saturday, the Wall Street Journal revealed that Platner had sent "sexually explicit texts" to several women and that the issue had been flagged to the campaign by Platner's wife, Amy Gertner, in the days after he announced the run.

The source of the stories was former Maine state representative Genevieve McDonald, who served as Platner's political director before leaving the campaign last fall after Platner's past social media comments first came to light.

In the hours before the news broke, Katz threatened McDonald, saying she would be accused of lying and sabotage if she persisted, the Bangor Daily News reported.

"Just want to be clear on where we are right now," Katz wrote to McDonald in a text exchange viewed by the Maine newspaper. "If the story goes in its current iteration we'll communicate directly on the record, and by name, that Genevieve violated the personal trust of Amy and Graham and shared explicit falsehoods to sabotage the campaign."

Though he is now strongly associated with the socialist and insurgent left, Katz used to be a moderate, bashing Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) and lauding former New York governor Andrew Cuomo (D.) in now-deleted X posts.

He has his work cut out for him with Platner. The embattled oysterman has already faced a withering barrage of press over his decision to tattoo a Nazi Totenkopf to his chest and wear it there for 18 years. Thousands of unflattering Reddit posts have also been resurfaced.
