The chairman and CEO of MGM Resorts said Wednesday that Las Vegas is a "good microcosm of the U.S. economy and global economy," during the National Clean Energy Summit in Nevada.
"Things are getting better here in Las Vegas," James J. Murren said. "This is a good microcosm of the U.S. economy and global economy. I feel like we're on the right track, we just have to continue."
"If Congress could get their act together and do something, and stop being so polarized, and have good policy makers there, we'd be a lot further along," he added. "But nonetheless, despite ourselves, we're doing better than we were a year ago."
