Senor: Real Concern From Arab Allies Over Iran Deal

Dan Senor joined Morning Joe Monday, noting the real concern held by the United States’ Arab allies over the recent deal between Iran and the P5+1:

"My other big concern here is the impact on the allies. It's not just Israel. It's the Saudis. The Emirates. The Jordanians. The administration has been saying repeatedly, "we've been consulting with our allies." So why are the allies reacting the way they're reacting?"... The degree of panic that I’m hearing, when you hear leaders in the gulf states sounding more hawkish about Iran than you hear the prime minister of Israel, there's something going on in the region."

Senor went on to mention that one Arab leader expressed the lack of trust such an agreement created between the US and its allies in the region.

"What one Gulf Arab leader said to me is he said, "How can we trust anything the administration says at this point?" Not only with the US’ abilities to regulate and inspect, but also when the administration says they have someone's back. When they'll stand by an ally. How can they rely on that given the whole Syria debacle?"
