An Arizona man is experiencing firsthand the negative impact of Obamacare. Lee Leons recently received a letter informing him that his current insurance policy had been cancelled, due to strict regulations imposed by Obamacare. "It’s frustrating, it’s challenging, it makes you really question what’s really going on," he said.
He shared with KTVK that he has had health insurance for most of his working life. Now suddenly left without insurance, Lee was forced to explore purchasing insurance through the Obamacare. His previous rate was $268.00, but his new plan under Obamacare will cost him $563.00 for identical care. "It’s insane," he said.
Leons questioned whether the government established insurance exchange was aptly named, as it is has certainly proved to be anything but affordable.
