State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki was pressed by reporters Monday on whether Secretary of State John Kerry will give up his paycheck during a possible government shutdown:
Q: (Off mic) -- particularly on the secretary, will he, as Attorney General Holder has said that he was going to give up his pay in solidarity with the most severely affected Justice Department employees. Is the secretary going to do something similar?
PSAKI: I will -- I have not spoken with him about that. I have to admit, he has done things along those lines before, so let me check in and will get back to all of you.
