Florida House of Reps only paying $8 a month for health insurance

Members of the Florida House of Representatives are getting a sweet deal when it comes to their health care -- they pay a mere $8.34 per month for health insurance, WAWS in Jacksonville reports:

Eight bucks. These days it can't even buy you a movie ticket, let alone something substantial.

But that's because you're not one of the 120 members of the Florida House of Representatives, the last "state employees" still paying $8.34 a month for health insurance.

For a whopping $30, they get health insurance for their entire family. Action News found out even their fellow state workers think it's a joke.

The legislature also pays the entirety of the dental and life insurance premiums for members and employees.
