Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's attorney Beth Wilkinson said on Wednesday that Christine Blasey Ford has yet to turn over the results of her lie detector test and her therapist notes to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
"They announced that there were notes and there had been a lie detector test, but as I understand it, they did not turn any of those over to the Senate committee, even though they were requested. So the information that would have shown what she said at the very first time when she revealed these allegations, has not been turned over to the Senate," Wilkinson said.
CBS anchor Norah O'Donnell asked Wilkinson to clarify that she and the Senate committee haven't received those documents from Ford's team.
"As far as I know, last night when the information was sent in–we all received a request from the Senate to provide any information–and we did not receive from the documents that they sent in, any information or the results of the lie detector test that had been mentioned in the Washington Post. And we didn't receive the notes from the therapist that had also been referenced in the Washington Post," Wilkinson said. "And of course that's very important because apparently in those notes there's a differing story about how many people were present at the party, there's no mention of Judge Kavanaugh, and so all of that information would be very important to determine whether there's any corroboration of this allegation."
Kavanaugh has faced two allegations of sexual misconduct that, according to the accusers, occurred decades ago. Ford told the Post that Kavanaugh, then a junior in high school, attacked her when they were at a party in Maryland in the early 1980s. The other allegation is from a woman named Deborah Ramirez who accused Kavanaugh of exposing himself at a dorm party during his freshmen year at Yale.
Neither allegation has been corroborated, and Kavanaugh has issued strong denials to both.
The Senate Judiciary Committee scheduled a hearing Thursday for both Ford and Kavanaugh to testify.
