‘I’m sure they’ll nail us on taxes and I'm sure it will work’

An unnamed senior White House official tells National Journal that the Supreme Court’s decision to uphold the individual mandate as a tax is politically problematic for the president.

"I'm sure they'll nail us on taxes and I'm sure it will work," the official said. "But, given the alternative, that's a bitter pill I'm ready to swallow."
