Tomi Lahren Shuts Down Dem Politician Who Questions Her Knowledge of Benghazi

February 6, 2017

Conservative television host Tomi Lahren was ready Friday night on HBO's "Real Time With Bill Maher" when a Missouri Democrat tried to challenge her knowledge of the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack.

The argument started when host Bill Maher brought up the U.S. commando raid in Yemen last Sunday, when American soldiers targeted al Qaeda fighters and a Navy SEAL operator was killed. Maher said that if the same incident occurred while Hillary Clinton was president, "this would be the new Benghazi."

Lahren agreed with Maher, but then got into a heated discussion over whether or not Benghazi was a "bullshit" scandal, as Maher put it.

Democrat Jason Kander, an Army veteran and former Missouri secretary of state who appeared on the panel, told Lahren that politicians "used the people who died [in Benghazi] as political chess pieces." He then challenged her to name each of the four men who died in Benghazi, telling her, "You don't know."

Lahren did know, however, and she was able to list off all four names of the Benghazi victims.

"Good for you, good for you," Kander kept repeating as Lahren was speaking.

"You two have just proved absolutely nothing," Maher said after the back and forth.
