NBC’s Chuck Todd said Democrats are "talking to themselves" when they choose to attack the Koch brothers because most Americans don’t know who the Koch brothers are according to a new WSJ/NBC poll.

"The Koch brothers have a higher name ID among Democrats than they do with either Independents, or Republicans. They [Democrats] are talking to themselves on the Koch brothers, I don’t think its penetrating with persuasion voters," Todd said on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.

The WSJ/NBC poll found a full half of Americans didn’t recognize the names of Charles and David Koch. Another 20% have neutral feelings about them – leaving just 21% with negative feelings and 10% with positive opinions.

Will this poll help stop Harry Reid's crazy floor rants against the Kochs?
