Republican approval is at a five-year high, Bloomberg Politics reports. GOP approval stands in stark contrast to President Barack Obama’s approval, which stands at 39 percent.

Bloomberg also found that just 24 percent think the country is on the right track.

Forty-five percent of Americans have a favorable opinion of Republicans, while 47 percent view the GOP unfavorably. Democrats have just a 41 percent approval rating, with 50 percent holding an unfavorable view of the party. "This was Democrats’ worst showing in more than five years," according to Bloomberg.
