Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee spent part of Monday afternoon working the counter and drive-through of a South Carolina Chick-fil-A.
According to ABC News, the former Arkansas governor was holding a "Mike at Work" event at the fast food restaurant.
Huckabee chose to serve up chicken to voters on National Fried Chicken Day. Later on Monday night, he will appear at a town-hall event hosted by Sen. Tim Scott (R., S.C.) and attended by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R., S.C.) in Anderson, S.C.
Chick-fil-A was a logical choice for Huckabee, as the CEO of the chain has come out in support of traditional values championed by the candidate. Chick-fil-A also topped the American Customer Satisfaction Index list released last week as the number one ranked fast-food industry restaurant in terms of customer satisfaction.
