Man Dies with $7M in Gold Stashed in Home

NBC Las Vegas reports millions in gold bars, coins found in the home of Carson City recluse

At least $7 million in gold bars and coins were found in the home of a Carson City, Nev., recluse months after his death, NBC Las Vegas reports.

The man, Walter Samaszko Jr., passed away at age 69 in June from heart problems– with reportedly only $200 to his name.

The gold stash was found when Samaszko’s house was being cleared for sale.
