Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson stuck out his tongue during an interview with MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt on Friday.
Hunt asked Johnson whether he thought his poll numbers would equal those of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump if he got on the debate stage with them this coming Monday.
"I do and it wouldn’t have anything to do with my debate performance," Johnson said.
The Libertarian Party nominee said that if he makes it onto to the debate stage, the American people would recognize there was another option.
Then the interview got weird.
Johnson proceeded to talk with his tongue sticking out. It is unclear why, but Hunt physically jumped back and looked uncomfortable.
"That’s never happened to me in an interview before," Hunt said.
