NBC Nightly News reported Wednesday the White House intends to delay Obamacare's individual mandate by up to six weeks, due to the disastrous launch that has been the the subject of fierce criticism.
"Because of the staggering computer problems, because of the millions of Americans who have tried to line up coverage but have been turned away instead, the administration now intends to slide the deadline for the so-called individual mandate for health care coverage," anchor Brian Williams said.
However, White House deputy press secretary Eric Schultz tweeted Wednesday night that the mandate had not changed.
The individual mandate timing has not changed. The deadline for signing up for insurance is March 31. It was true this am. It is true tonight
