June 15, 2015

Palestinian children at a kindergarten graduation in West Bank were shown on local television parading around in military fatigues, carrying toy weapons, and singing songs about the destruction of Israel, according to video of the ceremony.

During a graduation ceremony in the West Bank this month pre-schoolers could be seen crawling on the ground with toy weapons while dressed in military gear, complete with toy guns, according to footage provided by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

A picture of former Palestinian terrorist Yassir Arafat is displayed on the stage behind the children as they perform military drills. The kindergarten is reportedly run the by the Anabta women’s charity association, according to MEMRI.

While the children engage in mock military displays, a song about the destruction of Israel plays.

"On the mountains, behind the hills, within the valleys—you will be defeated, you will be defeated. Whether you come by sea, or by air—you will be crushed, you will be crushed," the song states, according to a translation by MEMRI. "If you stretch your hand, it will be chopped off."

"If you just look with your eye, it will be gouged out," the song continues. "The defeated army will be too terrified to come back. We come for you before, and woe betide you if we come back again. You come to this land alive, but you will leave it as body parts."

Footage of the ceremony was broadcast earlier this month on the local Al-Sheraa television station.
