An 18-year-old American tourist and at least four other individuals were killed in attacks perpetrated by Palestinians in Tel Aviv and the West Bank Thursday, according to Israeli police.
Fox News reported that the knife attack in Tel Aviv and shooting in the West Bank killed at least five people. Both suspects were arrested and have been identified as Palestinians.
A Palestinian terrorist opened fire from a car on other vehicles caught in traffic in Gush Etzion in the West Bank, killing at least three people and wounding others, including some Americans. Some reports indicated that a second terrorist was involved in the shooting.
The shooting came two hours after a Palestinian man stabbed and killed two Israelis and wounded another in Tel Aviv earlier Thursday.
"The murderous terror has struck Gush Etzion and Tel Aviv," Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, according to a Ynetnews. "My heart is with the families of the murdered and I send my wishes for a speedy recovery to the wounded. Whoever condemned the attacks in France needs to condemn the attacks in Israel. It’s the same terror. Whoever does not do this is a hypocrite and blind."
