Sen. Ron Johnson (R., Wis.) discussed his line of questioning of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on the Benghazi attack during Wednesday' s Senate hearing, saying the country deserved the truth on what caused the assault and that the Obama administration has not been straight forward with the public.
"The main point is, let's find out what happened, let's prevent it from happening in the future," Johnson said. "There is a failure of leadership before this and certainly after this, and we need to correct those problems."
Pressed by CNN host Soledad O'Brien Thursday morning about his reported accusation that Clinton may have planned to get emotional to dodge questions, Johnson said he "probably speculated and shouldn't have."
