The House voted Wednesday to overturn President Barack Obama’s immigration actions, Fox News reports.
Obama’s executive actions included temporary deportation relief and work permits for about 4 million illegal immigrants.
Republicans in the House used the Homeland Security Department funding bill to attach provisions overturning those actions.
The bill will now head to the Senate. It is likely that Republicans in the Senate will not have enough votes to pass the bill.
The White House has threatened to veto legislation that would overturn the immigration actions.
