Major Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) told a KRNV reporter that the Bureau of Land Management's standoff with Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy is "not over" Monday following a speech at the University of Nevada Reno.
"Well, it's not over. We can't have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it's not over," Reid said.
The BLM withdrew their forces from the contested area last Saturday following a tense confrontation with protesters.
One protester issued a stern warning, telling KRNV "I feel sorry for any federal agents that want to come in here and push us around, or anything like that. I really don’t want violence towards them, but if they’re going to come bring violence to us, if that’s the language that they want to speak, we’ll learn it."
