8100 Hawaii Employers Face Premium Hikes Due to Obamacare


Hawaii Medical Service Association customers face a possible insurance premium hike that could pose a significant financial burden to them, as reported by the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.The proposed 12.8 percent rate hike would affect the majority of the 77,000 small business workers covered under the Hawaii Medical Service Association.

Additionally, the hike would raise insurance premiums for about 8100 employers planning to renew health plans on July 1.
