Barack Obama is introducing some humility to his campaign.
Obama glad-handed with about 120 donors, including failed baseball player Michael Jordan and noted anti-police activist Carmelo Anthony on Wednesday.
"It is very rare I come to an event where I’m like the fifth or sixth most interesting person," he said. "Usually the folks want to take a picture with me, sit next to me, talk to me. That has not been the case at this event and I completely understand."
Obama has leaned on celebrities in a number of fundraisers. He raised more than $10 million at a Hollywood fundraiser hosted by A-lister George Clooney and movie executive cum bribery suspect Jeffrey Katzenberg. He has also chosen former Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria, a national campaign co-chair, to speak at the DNC in September.
